M&J was founded of a desire to create products of style and beauty, while building a business that holds true to ideals of integrity and fairness to other people and to the environment as a whole. Each of their products is designed and developed with the aim to tread as lightly on the planet as possible and do business in an ethical manner.

All candles are hand poured with Love in London with soya wax, recycled glass and environmentally friendly packaging.

Andalusian Romance Orange Blossom & Jasmine The Mediterranean breeze carried the scent of orange blossoms and sweet jasmine and the candle light flickered across her face as they dined in the courtyard. It was the perfect evening to end a perfect day – wandering together through ancient town squares, strolling hand in hand along the quiet beach at sunset, and toasting our love in this secluded courtyard as the gentle guitar echoed from somewhere in the narrow cobbled streets. And, now, best of all... she said "Yes!" At the farmers market on the green, bright orange pumpkins are piled high by the stacks of hay where we sit (carefully) and sip earthy apple cider (he drinks his cold but I know it's best warmed and with cinnamon). In the chill of the evening after dinner, we share our cranberry tart while sitting around a bonfire snuggled under the weight of an ancient handmade quilt - scraps of dresses and skirts stitched together by some thrifty new Englander a generation or two ago. And as the leaves fall and drift to the ground, we inhale deeply and take it all in - giving thanks for finding ourselves here again, with another year to mark the changing of the seasons. We strolled among the glowing little huts selling all matter of handcrafted ornaments, wooden toys and knitted scarves and mittens. With a hot mug of glühwein in hand, we could finally feel our fingers again. Celtic Fire Pine, Peat & Cedar That quiet-looking picture postcard pub in County Down — the one we ducked into when the light rain started to fall a bit harder and it seemed the right time to come in from walking the Mourne Mountains and cool green woods and warm up with a wee dram by the fire. On the approach, it looked like the quintessential quiet local, but once we shuffled through the wooden door into the dark, cozy space, the craic was in full swing! The stout was flowing as fast as the fiddlers' bows and the entire room seemed to thrum to the beat of the bodhrán.
